We’re looking for an experienced IPS & Supported Employment Service Manager to lead high-performing teams and drive exceptional delivery across our IPS programme. In this role, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations, manage Team Leaders, and ensure services meet the IPS fidelity model, performance targets, and quality standards. You’ll build strong partnerships with NHS mental health teams, employment providers, referral partners and national stakeholders, ensuring the service is fully integrated and continuously improving.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead IPS & Supported Employment delivery, ensuring fidelity to all IPS principles
- Manage and develop staff performance, practice and wellbeing
- Build effective relationships with NHS teams, commissioners and external partners
- Drive operational performance, KPIs, quality and compliance
- Use data and MI to identify risks, inform decisions and improve outcomes
- Promote the service and contribute to external evaluations and innovation
Skills and Experience
- Strong knowledge of the IPS or Supported Employment model desirable.
- Proven experience in contract/project management within a performance-driven environment
- Experience managing teams, caseloads and complex staffing issues
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship-building skills
- Understanding of health conditions and barriers to employment
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills
