Main Purpose
The Employer Engagement Consultant plays a crucial role in managing employer accounts to meet volume targets and deliver high-quality employment, skills and training outcomes. Reporting to the Strategic Account Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing and developing approximately 10 independently sourced employer accounts, while also supporting the management of high-volume, national employer opportunities. You will work closely with Resourcing teams to ensure vacancies are filled efficiently and that candidates and learners align with employer recruitment needs, whilst also promoting the full service offering across employment, skills and training programmes.
Main Accountabilities
- Account Management
- Manage and develop a minimum of 10 key employer accounts within a specified sector.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and act as the main point of contact for queries.
- Conduct regular employer reviews to ensure services align with evolving business needs.
- Develop and implement strategies to target key sectors and organisations for apprenticeship and skills recruitment.
- Work closely with Resourcers to ensure opportunities are filled with suitable learners and candidates in a timely manner.
- Clearly communicate employer expectations to optimise screening and placement processes.
- Monitor candidate and learner progress to ensure quality submissions meet employer standards.
- Present the full service offering (employment, skills and training) to employers, positioning the organisation as a partner of choice for both pre- and post-employment support.
- Stay informed about contract requirements and ensure employer accounts meet agreed performance metrics across all services.
- Track and report on key performance metrics including placements, satisfaction rates, sustainability, retention and repeat service usage.
- Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders on account progress, growth and emerging opportunities.
- Use data insights to identify areas for improvement in account management and employer engagement.
- Share insights and recommendations internally to improve service quality and alignment with employer needs.
