ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As the first point of contact for potential clients, you will introduce Sova’s innovative talent assessment solutions to HR and Talent Acquisition leaders.
- You will qualify inbound leads, nurture relationships, and design creative outbound strategies to bring new opportunities into the pipeline.
- You will work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams, using data-driven insights and advanced tools to generate high-quality opportunities that fuel Sova’s growth.
- Inbound Lead Management: Qualify and convert inbound interest by serving as the first point of contact for demo requests, promptly qualifying and converting them into held demos.
- Progress marketing leads by nurturing marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) and demo participants into sales-ready opportunities, preparing seamless handovers to Regional Sales Managers (RSMs).
- Deliver high-quality demos tailored to client requirements.
- Outbound Strategy & Execution: Design scalable outbound motions by building and optimising automated, multi-channel outreach sequences (cold and warm) leveraging modern technology stacks such as Clay, Lemlist, and Instantly, informed by real-time signals and data.
- Research businesses, individuals, and industries to identify potential new customers.
- Use a combination of phone calls, emails, videos, and LinkedIn to connect with leads.
- Support marketing with outbound efforts and conduct your own personal outreach to generate pipeline from target accounts.
- Campaign Collaboration & Lead Nurturing: Partner on campaigns by working hand-in-hand with the marketing team on demand generation and ABM initiatives, supporting prospecting, sequencing, and nurture activities to maximise campaign ROI.
- Share timely, structured feedback with Marketing on common objections, market trends, and client needs to help shape messaging and campaign strategy.
- Drive new opportunities by engaging warm leads from events, revisiting lost opportunities, and re-engaging churned customers with tailored messaging.
- Sales Operations & Continuous Improvement: Build a thorough understanding of Sova’s business, offerings, and competitors.
- Meet with potential new customers to gauge interest and qualify suitability.
- Manage your lead pipeline in Salesforce for accurate forecasting.
- Maintain CRM systems, logging sales activity and client information.
- Follow operating procedures from lead generation through to opportunity handover.
- Work with your manager and colleagues to improve team effectiveness.
- Attend networking events, webinars, and exhibitions.
ABOUT YOU:
- Skills required: Ambitious and driven to succeed, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, resilient, business acumen, a team player with the ability to work independently, tech-savvy with an enthusiasm for learning modern sales technology stacks, strategic thinker, passion for technology and an interest in staying current with industry trends, commercially minded and driven to succeed against targets.
- Experience required: Working knowledge of the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model and industry. An understanding of and experience in the HR technology industry, and specifically in the digital assessment and recruitment space. 1-2 years of sales or business development experience. Experience with sales automation tools and multi-channel outreach platforms (e.g., Clay, Lemlist, Instantly) is highly desirable. Knowledge of psychometrics and experience in the assessment technology sector are advantageous.
