We are looking for energeticand enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support the teaching andlearning of our pupils at Southwood School.We are in search of an experienced individual who can inspire our pupilsand help them to enjoy their time at school and their learning. We have a vibrant and inclusive schooldedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for ourstudents.
The successfulcandidate will be able to:
- Support the delivery of creative and engaginglessons planned by the teaching staff, aligned with our curriculum
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroomenvironment where every student feels valued
- Differentiate to meet the diverse learningneeds of our students so they can achieve their best
- Implement effective classroom managementstrategies promoting positive behaviour.
You will:
- Have experience of working with children inKS2
- Have knowledge/experience of children withbehavioural challenges
- Be sensitive to the wide range of children’sneeds experienced in main stream schools
- Be an excellent communicator, able to workcollaboratively with the year group team
- Have a passion for education and a commitmentfor fostering a love of learning in students
- Be kind, caring and understanding and goodrole model for our pupils
