About The Role
The White Horse Federation is a Multi-Academy Trust of 30 schools in Swindon, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire, committed to providing the very best education for our students.
Our HR Operations Team are a key part of the Central Professional Services team, providing a comprehensive HR and Operations service to all of our schools and Central office.
We are currently recruiting for a HR Operations Officer to join our team on a permanent contract.
This is an on-site role, based at our Central Office in Swindon where you will join our HR Team.
The HR Operations Officer will provide support to the HR Operations team in the areas of HR systems administration, HR administrative documentation, payroll processing, payroll checking, HR reporting and HR data tasks.
This would be ideal for a HR generalist who has an understanding of education pay conditions and pensions.
- You Will Be
- Able to assist with managing the HR Management Information System, ensuring information is entered accurately, is up to date and correct.
- Assisting with system audits, data audits and checking.
- Able to respond to and resolve queries around the HR Management Information System.
- Providing advice and guidance around using the HR Management Information System where required
- Assisting in processing monthly payroll claims, ensuring accurate data is sent to the outsourced provider.
- Assisting in the monthly payroll checking process to ensure staff are paid correctly and on time.
- Processing parental leave and absence accurately and efficiently.
- Producing HR documentation including standard letters for absence, contracts and payroll.
- Assisting the Senior HR Operations Officer with managing HR data and producing reports for Senior Leaders and Trustees.
- Assisting in the TUPE process, including producing accurate ELI data.
- Able to work with the operations team to ensure that statutory returns are completed, including School Workforce Census
- Able to assist in managing shared inboxes for the HR Operations Team, including the general HR inbox and the payroll inbox
