About This Role

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant (TA) and MDSA to join our team. The TA will work 8:30‑12:30 Monday to Thursday and Friday 8:30‑12:00. The MDSA will work 12:30‑1:00 Monday to Thursday during term time only. Start: permanent.

Hours

TA hours: 19.5 per week. MDSA hours: 2 per week.

Grade

TA: WHFNJC K Grade. MDSA: WHFNJC J Grade.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

We are looking for an excellent teaching assistant who loves to work with children and helps inspire them to achieve their potential. We want a team‑player who enjoys working with others and being involved in school life, is committed to their own professional development journey, and is experienced in working with children with SEN and/or SEMH needs.

Location & School Profile

Drove Primary School is based in the heart of Swindon, Wiltshire. We are a three‑form entry school with approximately 650 children on roll, plus our own nursery on site. Our Ofsted rating (July 2024) was “GOOD”, with “Outstanding” in personal development.
