Part-Time Care Administrator / Care Coordinator in Bridgwater

The successful candidate will play an important role in coordinating care services, supporting care staff and ensuring that our service users receive safe, reliable and consistent care.

You will work closely with management, care staff, service users, families and external professionals to ensure effective communication and efficient service delivery.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working in a care administration or care coordination role.
• Good understanding of domiciliary care or the wider health and social care sector.
• Experience coordinating staff rotas and managing changing staffing requirements.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• A professional, compassionate and confidential approach.
• Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection.

Desirable

• Knowledge of CQC regulations and expectations.
• Experience using domiciliary care management software.
• Knowledge of care planning, risk assessments and electronic care records.
• Experience working with adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.
• Previous experience supporting a small or growing care organisation.
