The Role
An exciting opportunity has been created in our Housing Management and Support Service for a Housing Officer. You will be managing tenancies in accordance with policies, procedures, and targets. Due to the busy and unpredictable nature of the role you must be able to manage your time and make decisions effectively.
We are a lead provider of trauma informed and ACES training and we are embedding this into our service delivery. We are working to achieve DAHA Accreditation to respond effectively to domestic abuse with interventions that can support a survivor to live safely at home and to hold a perpetrator to account.
Candidates
Our terms and conditions are good and for the right person we offer a 35-hour week, competitive salary, excellent contributory pension scheme and 25 days holiday, increasing to 30 days.
We are looking for an officer who can work on all aspects of tenancy management:
- Allocations and voids
- Changes of tenancy and rightsizing
- Tenancy sustainment
- Property and garden condition
- Safeguarding, domestic abuse and community safety
- Neighbourhood management
You will use your professional experience and expert sector knowledge to develop and deliver a high-quality service. You will be solution-focused and professionally curious. Previous experience in tenancy management would be beneficial, but more importantly you will need to be great with people and be an excellent team player.
