St Oswald's is a joyful, diverse parish seeking a prayerful, innovative priest to lead us into growth.
We are seeking a Vicar who brings spiritual depth, pastoral warmth and a creative, future-focused approach to mission, growth and community engagement. We hope for a priest who is grounded in prayer, joyful in worship, music and confident in preaching and teaching. Someone who can inspire faith, nurture discipleship and help people of all ages encounter God's love in fresh and accessible ways.
Working collaboratively with an engaged PCC, you will help shape and deliver a bold, imaginative vision for growth. You will strengthen relationships with local schools and community organisations, champion ministry with children and families, and encourage confident, outward-facing witness that builds welcome, diversity and belonging.
We seek a strategic thinker who can lead change well, support good governance and safeguarding, enable financial resilience, and promote transparency, accountability and healthy decision-making as the parish grows.
You will be supported by dedicated volunteers, a joyful choir, an active Finance Team, clear governance structures, a modern vicarage beside the church, and a congregation ready to work alongside their new Vicar with hope, creativity and enthusiasm.
Closing Date: Sunday 18 October 2026
