What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage a personal caseload, delivering one‑to‑one, tailored employment support to Southwark residents.
  • Work collaboratively with clinical teams and community partners to provide a joined‑up service.
  • Build relationships with local employers to unlock inclusive job opportunities and promote long‑term economic independence.
  • Champion and apply IPS and SEQF models to support people with disabilities or long‑term health conditions.
  • Contribute to wider economic growth programmes across the Planning & Growth division.

What We're Looking For

  • Passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives through employment.
  • Understanding of the barriers people with health conditions face in accessing the labour market.
  • Knowledge of the local job market, including in‑demand industries and skill gaps.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to train in IPS and SEQF frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Strong organisational skills with a flair for forward‑planning and multitasking under pressure.
  • Confidence handling sensitive information with utmost discretion.
  • Track record of developing others, delivering results and achieving shared goals.
  • Ability to manage programmes and projects, ensuring every milestone is hit and every challenge tackled.
  • Willingness to travel across the borough to visit employers and work from the community hub in Peckham.
