Who You Are: You are an experienced professional with at least 6 months of experience in handling formal representations and/or informal appeals against Penalty Charge Notices (PCN) issued within London. Your deep understanding of the Traffic Management Act 2004 (TMA 2004) and Road Traffic Act 1991 (RTA 1991) equips you to effectively manage and resolve parking-related issues. You are committed to delivering excellent service standards and possess the capability to make balanced judgements using your knowledge and expertise. What the job involves: As part of the Parking Appeals and Representations team, you will provide a critical service to both the Parking and Network Management team and the broader council. You will handle all parking-related correspondence and appeals, ensure compliance with statutory processes, and maintain high levels of customer service for residents and visitors. Your role involves attending adjudication hearings, processing parking permit and suspension applications, managing customer inquiries, and guiding new staff. Additionally, you will assist in achieving organisational objectives related to the Council’s Climate Change, Air Quality, and Streets for People strategies.
