As part of our Web and Digital Team, you will create high-quality digital forms (eForms) that are accessible, user-friendly, and aligned with government standards. You will work closely with service teams to gather requirements, maintain and improve existing forms, and contribute to digital transformation projects that make a real difference. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build and configure new eForms and workflows using approved platforms
  • Collaborate with service teams to gather requirements and map business processes
  • Improve and implement form logic, branching, validation rules, and error handling
  • Integrate forms with internal systems and databases where appropriate
  • Maintain and update the existing library of eForms, reflecting service changes and user feedback
  • Monitor form performance and accessibility, making improvements as needed
  • Provide second-line support to internal users and respond to operational issues
  • Ensure all form designs comply with GDPR and accessibility standards
  • Generate usage analytics and reports to support service reviews and transformation work

What You’ll Bring

  • Knowledge of Government Digital Service (GDS) design patterns and service standards
  • Understanding of accessibility guidelines and inclusive design principles
  • Experience designing and maintaining forms or surveys
  • Familiarity with user-centred design (UCD) methodologies and agile working practices
  • Ability to use data, analytics, and user feedback to inform design decisions
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with empathy for users of all backgrounds
  • Basic technical knowledge including HTML, CSS, and form-building logic

Additional Details

This role is fixed term for 2 years. Any internal employees are encouraged to seek agreement from their substantive line manager if considering this as a secondment opportunity. Full time, 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, with time split between working from home and from Tooley Street offices a minimum of 2 days per week. The role may require occasional work outside normal office hours and at different venues to meet service needs. The role is not open to job share.
