What You\'ll Be DoingWe\'re looking for a proactive and experienced Leisure Finance and Admin Officer to play a key role in supporting the delivery of finance and administrative services across our eight council-run leisure centres. This role plays a vital part in supporting our finance operations overseeing the accurate processing of invoices, chasing outstanding hire debts, and collating weekly timesheets to ensure colleagues are paid on time. It demands a strong grasp of financial procedures and administrative precision.
In this vital role, you\'ll:
Provide day-to-day finance and admin support across the Leisure division
Prepare and collate timesheets
Assist with the preparation of direct debit collection runs and account reconciliation
Produce financial reports and collaborate with Leisure Centre Managers to improve systems and practices
Your work will help ensure our services are efficient, inclusive, and accessible supporting Southwark residents in leading healthier, more active lives.
What We\'re Looking ForWe want someone who is organised, detail-oriented and passionate about making a difference in local communities. You\'ll bring:
A solid understanding of leisure service business processes and financial admin
Experience in bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciliation
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with colleagues, managers, and external stakeholders
