What the Job Involves
In this role as Specialist Service Office Manager – Support Team, you'll lead customer resolution teams handling complaints, member inquiries, and emails regarding repairs and environmental services. You'll work closely with Heads of Specialist Services and council partners to create and maintain a performance management framework, ensuring statutory and contractual obligations are met and leveraged to improve performance. Overseeing a team responsible for Customer & Exchequer services, you will deliver and develop council strategies while contributing to anti-poverty and homelessness initiatives. You'll manage staff recruitment, development, and budgets while implementing quality assurance measures. The role involves maintaining stakeholder relationships, ensuring compliance with legislation, using data to drive performance improvements, and leading a team committed to customer excellence from an office base in Peckham, spending at least three days a week in the office.
