An opportunity has arisen to join our Motor Vehicle team and deliver courses to our learners. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about Motor Vehicle technologies and can share this excitement with students of all ages in an inspirational manner. This role is perfect for someone wanting to work in a newly refurbished environment in FE or someone who is looking to share their knowledge of the Motor Vehicle industry with aspiring young people.
Salary and Hours
For information, the full-time equivalent is £32,346.00 to £40,557.00 per annum. Salary: £12,938.40 to £16,222.80 per annum.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a strong background in the Motor Vehicle industry and experience teaching within a further education setting on full‑time courses. The department delivers qualifications in motor vehicle repair and light vehicle maintenance from Level 1 up to Level 3. The successful candidate will be teaching on the C&G and/or IMI L1, L2 and L3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair programme, including the following units:
- Light vehicle maintenance
- Removing and replacing light engine units and components
- Electrical units and components
- Chassis
- Driveline and transmission
- Light vehicle fault finding and rectification
Qualifications
Candidates should be qualified to at least Level 3, possess an appropriate teaching qualification and an assessor qualification.
