Southgate Primary School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive team on a part time, permanent basis (4 days per week). What we're looking for:
- A good general education, including GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C or above).
- Basic IT skills to support learning and administrative tasks.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clarify instructions and engage students effectively.
- The ability to plan, prioritise tasks, and follow teacher guidance.
- A professional and confidential approach to working with children.
- Strong time management and organisation skills to maintain records and assist in classroom setup.
- A trustworthy, approachable, and passionate attitude towards making a positive impact on students’ lives.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, in line with GLF Schools' policies.

Our school sits within a newly established cluster of schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Southgate Primary School, our cluster includes the following other schools: Forge Wood Primary School, Kilnwood Vale Primary School, Greenway Junior School, Salfords Primary School, Lime Tree Primary School, Merstham Primary School.
