Southgate Primary School is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting children's education and development within a school setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist in delivering educational programmes, helping students achieve their full potential by supporting their day-to-day learning activities.
What We’re Looking For
- A good general education, including GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C or above).
- Basic IT skills to support learning and administrative tasks.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clarify instructions and engage students effectively.
- The ability to plan, prioritise tasks, and follow teacher guidance.
- A professional and confidential approach to working with children.
