About the role: We are very excited to announce that we have an amazing opportunity to join our Water Network Contract & Highways team as a Delivery Engineer – Site Inspector. If you have a strong focus on contractor performance, compliance and reactive maintenance processes, we would love to hear from you!

What you will be responsible for:

  • Proactively manage contract performance and compliance.
  • Manage repair and Maintenance (R&M) processes for the Southern Water region & supporting functions.
  • Liaise with customers, stakeholders and business partners regarding the R&M contracts.
  • Mitigate reputational & financial goals within Southern Water relating to contractual management.

Additional training will be provided to fulfil this role.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Technical understanding of Southern Water’s & industry related standards.
  • Commercial Effectiveness and Business Expertise.
  • Reporting & record-keeping skills – Tracking Sheet (Clancy Depot-net) review & auditable processing.
  • Promote best quality works.
  • Risk and Compliance management.
  • A UK Driving Licence.
  • Street works qualifications/Licence.

Skills and Competencies:

  • IT literate, familiar with Microsoft supporting frameworks.
  • Communication skills, liaison with our business partners regarding operations.
  • Ability to manage difficult situations with external bodies (customers, Leakage/Service providers & Contractors) and internally within SW.
