About the role:
As a Standpipe Hire Contract Manager, you will be responsible for contract management of the Standpipe Hire Contract service, including day to day management of all related activities, SLI performance, monthly reporting and daily authorisation of certain standpipe activities.
This role is currently based in Chatham, Kent but can be positioned in any part of the region.
What you will be responsible for:
- Contract Management of the Standpipe Hire Contract service
- Day to day management of the activities delivered through the service agreement
- SLI performance management and regular monitoring
- Monthly reporting - circulate reports to senior management team and the wider business
- Authorisation of standpipe hire under the terms and conditions of the hire agreements set out with Service Partner
- Provide financial monitoring and reporting - liaise with Miscellaneous Income and Financial business partners
- Organise and undertake regular contractual meetings - record outcomes, circulate minutes to senior management team
- Provide year end reporting of water usage for Ofwat annual report to include internal and external volumetric water usage
- Liaise with the Commercial and Procurement team to ensure contract compliance is met and any change controls are progressed as
- Manage the successful delivery of Standpipe Hire Service, providing support and assistance to effectively deal with any risks or issues.
- Ensure that the Guaranteed Standard levels for appointments and customer services are achieved and ensure that assistance is provide in relation to any stakeholder investigations of such level failures.
- Taking ownership and leading liaison meetings with third parties, identified as being in contravention of The Water Industry Act 1991 and/or The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999.
- Change and Innovation: To effectively and efficiently manage the Standpipe Hire Service Partner, as to maximise authorised standpipe hire growth, revenue income, to ensure the provision of unbilled volumes of water for the annual June Return. Creation and promotion of new processes to provide improved stakeholder and customer service.
