The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.
We are looking for solicitors or experienced caseworkers to join our highly respected and friendly Court of Protection team. Full-time applicants preferred but part-time applicants will be considered.
The role will involve:
- Handling a range of section 16 applications and section 21A challenges.
- A wide variety of day to day tasks such as taking instructions, drafting documents, securing appropriate funding, preparing witness statements, drafting instructions to experts, briefing counsel, attending court and meetings with clients.
- You will often be working with clients who are very vulnerable.
- Interesting and varied caseload.
- The opportunity to be involved in wider public law work such as mental health, community care and inquest cases.
We are looking for someone who has experience in the Court of Protection or transferrable skills from other practice areas. A full UK driving licence and access to a car is preferable for this role.
Salary – commensurate with experience together with an attractive package of benefits. We have hybrid working arrangements in place which offer flexibility and a great work-life balance. Choice to work from our offices in Burnley and/or Preston. Supportive and passionate team. We offer a range of opportunities for career progression and professional development.
