Southern Maintenance Solutions Ltd are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join our growing team. If you take pride in your work, enjoy solving technical problems, and want a stable Monday–Friday role with no call-outs — this could be the move for you. You’ll work across domestic, commercial, education, retail, medical and public sector sites within a 40-mile radius of our Aldermaston office. Every day brings variety, but without long-distance travel or overnight stays.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Area of work: M4 Corridor and surrounding areas

Job type: Full-time / Permanent

Additional pay: Profit/performance related bonus

Responsibilities:

  • You’ll be a key member of our Air Conditioning team, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding on:
  • Split systems
  • VRF / VRV systems
  • Air Source Heat Pumps
  • Air Handling Units
  • Ventilation systems
  • Carrying out remedial works
  • Delivering high-quality service with strong customer interaction

Requirements:

  • Proven AC service experience with strong fault-finding ability
  • Additional qualifications not necessary but an advantage
  • HVAC Knowledge
  • Valid, full UK driver’s license
  • Professional attitude and pride in workmanship
  • “On the job” experience
  • Awareness & knowledge of health & safety
