We have an exciting opportunity for a Salaried GP to join our team working two sessions a week.

Southernhay House Surgery is a training practice with a main site in the centre of Exeter and a branch site about 1.5 miles across the city.
We are a small but supportive, friendly and hardworking team who care about the people in the community we serve as well as our colleagues in the team.
Our practice staff currently comprises of three GP Partners, three salaried GPs, a skilled and dedicated nursing team and an experienced management and admin team.
Together we deliver a high standard of patient-centred care to our registered patient list, currently 7,600.
We are also a member practice of Exeter City Primary Care Network and through this are well supported with a wide range of ARRS staff including a ‘Same Day’ Team, clinical pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, care coordinators, first contact physiotherapists and mental health workers.
We also have a social prescriber for young people and a care home co-ordinator.
This is a two-session vacancy working on-site at either of our locations as required.
We can be flexible with when the sessions are worked.
Duty cover on a flexible agreed basis.
This position does not currently hold a patient list.
Ad-hoc sessions may also be available, along with the ability to engage with the PCN Enhanced Access clinics if you wish.
The main duties of the GP role are to deliver high-quality medical care to our registered patient population in line with our PMS contract.
Prescribe safely and effectively, adhering to local and national guidance and process clinical admin in a timely manner, including referrals, and maintain accurate clinical records.
Salary is dependent on experience and responsibilities. Whilst the position is initially on a fixed-term basis until March 2027 we expect funding will be forthcoming beyond this.
