We are a small but dynamic, family-run letting agency based in Longham, Ferndown. We pride ourselves on building fantastic relationships with new and long-standing landlords and tenants. We are looking for an experienced, proactive Lettings Administrator / Negotiator to join me, the director, and make a real impact. This hands-on role involves conducting valuations, bringing in new landlords and properties, managing tenancies, and supporting the business growth. Ongoing training is provided due to constant changes in legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct property valuations and viewings
  • Sign up tenants, process references, and applications
  • Liaise with landlords and tenants, negotiate offers and rent increases
  • Update property portals (Rightmove, Zoopla, OnTheMarket) and manage social media campaigns (including videos and photos)
  • Handle inspections, inventories, checkouts, EICRs, gas safety certificates, and maintenance issues
  • General administration, record-keeping, and compliance

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in property admin/lettings
  • Confident, proactive, and business-minded
  • Excellent organisation, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • IT and typing skills; confident with social media
  • Full driving licence, car, and business insurance
  • Able to work independently and take instructions
  • Love of animals (we have pets in the office)

Why Join Us:

  • Work directly with the director in a supportive, dynamic team
  • Hands-on, varied, and rewarding role with the chance to grow the business
  • Salary includes commission
  • Opportunities to conduct valuations and bring in new business
  • Ongoing training to stay up-to-date with legislation
  • Be part of creative projects and social media campaigns

You will also have the opportunity of earning commission on top of the basic wage. Starting wage is dependent upon experience.
