What you will be responsible for:
- Delivering condition‑based monitoring aligned to asset maintenance strategies.
- Carrying out route‑based monitoring using techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound emission and oil analysis.
- Recording and reporting condition monitoring findings through our asset management system.
- Analysing data to identify trends, risks and potential equipment failures.
- Producing clear corrective maintenance recommendations based on asset condition.
- Completing root cause analysis on complex equipment failures and supporting corrective actions.
- Continuously improving monitoring methods to enhance asset reliability and performance.
Additional role information:
The role involves regular travel to sites across Hampshire and occasional office working. Hybrid working is supported where operationally appropriate.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Essential:
- Experience analysing, maintaining, managing or operating engineering assets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Ability to plan, prioritise and manage workloads effectively.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
- A proactive, flexible approach and a willingness to collaborate across teams.
Desirable:
- Experience in wastewater or other regulated asset environments.
- Understanding of reliability and predictive maintenance techniques such as Reliability‑Centred Maintenance (RCM) or Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
- Awareness of predictive analytics, failure forecasting or data‑led maintenance tools.

- Industry‑accredited training aligned to ISO 18436 standards, including:
- Vibration analysis
- Infrared imaging
- Ultrasonic testing
- Oil analysis

- ONC, OND or equivalent qualification in engineering, or relevant industry experience.
