This role plays a vital part in enhancing the quality of alarms and telemetry data through continuous improvement initiatives and innovative solutions. As an AO Specialist, you will act as a key link between our field operations teams and the Operational Control Centre. By leveraging your expertise and collaborating with subject matter experts, you will identify and recommend improvements that drive efficiency and reliability across our alarm estate.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
- Supporting Southern Water’s commitment to achieving zero pollution by 2040 through proactive alarm management and optimisation.
- Driving initiatives to reduce leakage and operational incidents, contributing to regulatory compliance and performance targets.
- Collaborating with a team of Water and Wastewater specialists to deliver improvements across the Operational Control Centre.
- Innovating and implementing new approaches to alarm optimisation, reducing volumes, and improving system performance.
- Building strong stakeholder relationships and fostering collaboration across the business.
