About The Role: We are looking for an experienced Senior Clean Water Modeller with expertise in InfoWorks WS Pro to support the development and application of clean water distribution models. You will play a key role in strategic planning, operational optimisation, leakage reduction and regulatory compliance across potable water networks.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
- Lead the development, maintenance and calibration of clean water hydraulic models using InfoWorks WS Pro.
- Validate models against telemetry, logger and flow/pressure test data.
- Conduct scenario modelling to assess network performance under normal and stress conditions.
- Support operational teams with real-time and predictive modelling for pressure management and resilience.
- Provide modelling for investment planning, including mains reinforcement, DMA creation and growth impact.
- Simulate water quality parameters such as water age, chlorine decay and booster performance.
- Mentor junior modellers and contribute to modelling standards, QA/QC and workflow automation (Python, SQL).
- Prepare and present reports and visualisations for internal and external stakeholders.
Essential:
- Understanding of water and wastewater engineering within the UK Water Industry.
- Degree (MEng/BEng/BSc) or HNC in Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
