Salary: £27,496.64 + standby allowance + overtime – You will have an opportunity to increase your take home pay to circa £34,000 per annum through overtime and standby rota

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be part of a team that keeps our wastewater treatment works and pumping stations running smoothly. Every day is different, and you’ll be working outdoors in all weather conditions. You’ll manage your own schedule, giving you flexibility and independence.
Key responsibilities
- Carrying out compliance testing and regular sampling
- Maintaining and repairing equipment (e.g., pumps, valves, alarm systems)
- Responding to breakdowns and solving technical problems
- Logging tasks and data using our digital systems
- Ensuring site hygiene and safety standards are met
- Handling deliveries of chemicals safely and responsibly
