We are recruiting for a Lead Reliability Engineer based in Hampshire. The role involves leading a team of reliability engineers, creating strategies to maintain assets, increase reliability, and minimize downtime. You will manage up to 4 direct reports, coaching and developing them with relevant training in reliability engineering, maintenance techniques, and best practices for sustainable asset management.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing reliability strategies (RCM, PM, CBM)
- Collaborating with maintenance and operational managers to implement cost-effective and compliant maintenance strategies
- Analyzing data on asset performance and failure trends to drive reliability improvements
- Ensuring assets are utilized efficiently throughout their lifecycle
- Preparing reports for senior management
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate failures and risks
Successful candidates will have strong leadership skills, experience with electrical, ICA, and mechanical assets, knowledge of reliability analysis techniques, and familiarity with reliability-focused strategies. Excellent planning, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
This position aims to support the company's transition to a more planned maintenance approach within Waste Water management, moving towards a reliability-centered maintenance team in AMP 8.
