Location: Sandown, Isle of Wight

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Shift pattern (equates to 40 hours per week). You will work 2 days (6am–6pm), 2 nights (6pm–6am), and 4 days off. After 7 rotations you will have 18 days off.

Salary: £30,023 starter salary + 20% shift enhancement.

Your Core Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Pollution sampling/reporting
  • Running the Sludge Treatment Centre
  • Maintenance tasks – unblocking pumps, screens, and valves to ensure continuous plant operation.
  • Monitoring, collating and reporting of data to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
  • Fault finding and problem‑solving skills are essential to respond to breakdowns.
  • Site hygiene in line with our regulatory obligations.
  • General site maintenance tasks.
