EICA Reliability Engineer – Hampshire Employment Type: Permanent Hours: 37 hours per week Salary: Up to £55,000 dependent on experience Location: This role will be 2/3 days WFH and 2/3 days travelling to different Hampshire sites or at an office in the Hampshire area. We are currently recruiting for a EICA Reliability Engineer based in Hampshire. The successor will offer expertise in creating and implementing effective strategies to ensure our assets are maintained to a high standard with the primary aim to increase reliability and minimise downtime. You will be joining us to expand the team to be more focussed on delivering strategies within Wastewater, aiming to switch from reactive to planned maintenance and aiming to become a reliability centred maintenance function in our AMP 8 investment period. As the EICA Reliability Engineer you will be designing and implementing RCM strategies to ensure that assets are maintained in the most cost-effective and efficient way, ensuring reliability, legislative and environmental compliance. In achieving the required standards set out by our regulators, the role will require regular monitoring of maintenance strategies informed by asset performance, asset information review, asset surveillance and KPI trending to improve asset uptime and efficiency. You will be conducting reliability studies such as FMECA and RCA assessments to drive improvement in asset performance. Along with this, you will be applying industry standards and best practices in day-to-day asset engineering activities. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed documentation of reliability strategies, maintenance procedures, failure analysis, and best practices. To be successful in this role, you would need to have: * A technical minded individual with a strong technical skillset * Knowledge of electrical and ICA assets such as LV/HV Circuits, Instrumentation, Motors etc * Knowledge of FMECA and RCA (not essential) * Experience in analysing, operating, maintaining assets * Able to prioritise, manage own time efficiently and meet work targets / deadlines * Capable of effective cross functional stakeholder engagement * Great problem-solving and communication skills * Flexible approach to work with an engaging personal style * Strong logical and analytical skills, along with excellent planning skills * Have an electrical or instrumentation Engineering degree or equivalent relevant industry experience
