Salary: Up to £45,000 dependent on experience
Location: Durrington - 3 days based in the office and the remaining 2 days working from home. There will be a requirement to be on site occasionally within the South Coast region.
The Contract Compliance Manager will lead and develop a team responsible for the coordination, governance, and reporting of planned and reactive work orders delivered by Wastewater Networks contractors, ensuring Southern Water meets its statutory, regulatory, operational, and customer service commitments.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable people management/leadership experience. Along with this, they will be process driven and have the ability to create strong written processes.
To be successful in this role, you would need to have:
- Proven experience in managing a team within an operational or analytical environment.
- Strong understanding of wastewater operations, contractor performance, and asset maintenance.
- Familiarity with financial governance processes and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience using enterprise asset management systems is highly desirable.
- Demonstrable skills in performance reporting, data analysis, and continuous improvement.
- IOSH or equivalent H&S certification and sound understanding of safety compliance.
- Effective people management and leadership.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High attention to detail and process discipline.
- Able to prioritise and manage competing operational demands.
- Resilient and adaptable, particularly in high-pressure or rapidly changing environments.
