About the role: As a Technical Solutions Lead, you will play a key role in driving performance improvement and change across the Wastewater directorate. You’ll investigate processes, analyse corporate data, identify root causes, and develop practical, evidence-based solutions to tackle real industry challenges. Working within the Operational Planning & Improvement Team, you’ll have the freedom to innovate, explore new technologies, streamline processes, and see the impact of your work first-hand.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Gather and analyse data from across the business to produce clear, evidence‐based reports and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead solution development projects with cross‐functional teams, diagnosing root causes and improving inefficient processes and systems.
  • Develop plans and procedures that support operational effectiveness, efficiency improvements, and compliance/pollution reduction initiatives, including management information, KPIs, and governance.
  • Engage stakeholders across the business to understand current and future needs.
  • Facilitate collaboration through meetings, workshops, performance sessions, hubs, and training.
