We’re seeking a Vulnerability Liaison Officer to help deliver Southern Water’s Vulnerability Strategy, ensuring customers facing financial or physical challenges can access essential water and wastewater services.
Job Overview
- To identify, develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the community to promote and deliver Southern Waters support package.
- Innovatively consider all options for customer re-engagement and interact with stakeholders within individual geographical areas to help achieve objective.
- Provide customers with single point of contact for financial and vulnerability support ensuring tailored case management by utilising entirety of Southern Waters support package.
- Utilise local knowledge and stakeholder activity along with relevant insight to develop and deliver targeted support within allocated region.
About You
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations empathetically.
- Experience of working in community and stakeholder engagement activities, including hard to engage communities.
- An understanding of Welfare Reform and its industry impact.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision, being mobile regionally.
- Full UK driving license.
Package
This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working across the Kent region. We are offering a salary of circa £32,000 per annum depending on skills and experience as well as other benefits including:
