About the role
Our Major Projects team is at the heart of delivering critical programmes that transform our business and communities. As a Senior Planner, you’ll play a strategic role in developing and managing detailed project schedules, providing accurate data, early warnings, and scenario modelling to keep projects on track. This is your opportunity to influence outcomes, optimise delivery, and work on projects that truly matter.
What you will be responsible for:
- Develop, maintain, and manage fully logic-linked project schedules in Primavera P6 for major infrastructure projects.
- Communicate critical path updates, float trends, and early warnings on schedule slippage.
- Produce progress updates, lookahead schedules, S-Curves, and Schedule Performance Index (SPI) metrics at project and work pack level.
- Conduct scenario planning and “what-if” analysis to support risk mitigation strategies.
- Review and integrate schedules from external partners, ensuring quality and compliance with governance standards.
- Maintain rigorous control over schedule baselines and revisions in line with PMO governance processes.

- Familiarity with NEC contracts and key planning clauses.
