Location: Falmer, Brighton/Hybrid working (2 days in the office/sites)

Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday (37 hrs)

Contract: Permanent

Salary: up to £40,000

Must have a clean UK driving license, access to a vehicle and be able to travel across a variety of our wastewater sites in the Sussex area.

As an Asset Planner-Wastewater, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring a sustainable and reliable wastewater future for our communities. Your main gig is to collaborate with an awesome team to understand risks and investment needs in the catchment area, with assets including wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations and pipework. Think of it as being the guardian of our wastewater assets, preventing issues like flooding and pollution.

Key objectives of the role are:

  • Create and implement long-term investment plans in sync with regulatory frameworks and other investment drivers including Capital Maintenance & Population Growth
  • Use your analytical prowess to justify risk-based investment needs for your area to the benefit of customers and the environment.
  • Support the development of decision-making tools and dashboards
  • Work with other internal departments to achieve the above
