We're looking for an experienced and motivated Electrical Supervisor to lead our team of electrical technicians and help deliver a high-quality, responsive repairs and maintenance service across our homes and communities.
As part of our Direct Services team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our electrical works are delivered safely, efficiently and in full compliance with current regulations and NICEIC standards. Reporting to the Operations Manager for Electrical Compliance, you'll oversee a team of technicians, manage workloads, support technical development and ensure our residents receive an excellent service every time.
You'll lead by example, promoting a strong customer-focused culture and a 'right first time' approach, while ensuring repairs, maintenance, inspections and testing are completed to a consistently high standard. You'll also support compliance activity, including NICEIC assessments, certification requirements and the implementation of regulatory updates.
You will be based at Croydon, with occasional travel to support colleagues and teams in other regions where required.
You're a qualified Electrician with a strong work ethic and a focus on delivering great service. You're confident working independently, but equally comfortable supporting colleagues and working as part of a team.
About you: You're an experienced electrical professional with strong technical knowledge, leadership skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You enjoy supporting and developing others, maintaining high standards and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and compliantly.
You will need:
- Proven experience supervising electrical repairs, maintenance and compliance activities within a housing, maintenance or similar environment
- At least two years' experience as a NICEIC Qualified Supervisor or equivalent supervisory experience
- Relevant electrical installation qualifications
