Anti-Social Behaviour Officer £37,000-£38,110 pa plus £1,800 pa essential car user allowance Hooper Court, Portsmouth PO1 3PU Ref: 301 We're looking for a committed and compassionate professional to join our Housing Directorate as part of our regional Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) team. This is a rewarding role where you'll make a real difference to residents' lives by responding to ASB, managing risk, and helping people feel safe in their homes and communities. Reporting to the ASB Manager, you'll provide a high quality, resident focused service, dealing with a wide range of ASB cases. On a duty basis, you'll triage new reports, assess risk, agree action plans, and investigate incidents, always working with empathy, professionalism, and sound judgement. You'll manage a varied caseload, gathering and evaluating evidence, taking proportionate action to prevent further incidents, and using legal remedies where appropriate. You'll also work closely with internal teams and external partners to address ASB effectively and proactively across our neighbourhoods. Location:
Hooper Court, Portsmouth with regular travel across Hampshire. You'll have the opportunity for hybrid working as agreed with your line manager. About you You're calm under pressure, confident in your decision making, and motivated by helping people through difficult situations. You're able to balance empathy with professionalism, ensuring residents feel heard while clearly managing expectations and outcomes. You'll bring: Experience of ASB case management in a social housing or similar environment Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and explain complex information clearly Strong judgement and resilience when dealing with challenging and sensitive situations Confidence managing a varied caseload and prioritising work to meet service standards A thorough, organised approach with strong attention to detail A proactive, solutions focused mindset A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential Closing date: 14 th
