Fixed Term Contract Until October 2026

The role

We're looking to bring on board a seasonal Gardening Hand to join our welcoming and dedicated Estate Services team. You will deliver a consistently high-quality gardening and grounds maintenance service. You will be provided with tools and machinery to help you undertake your tasks and we will supply you with a new uniform, safety boots and personal protective equipment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Cutting and maintaining lawns and grass areas to a variety of finishes (fine to rough meadow type) using a variety of machines.
  • Removing leaves, moss and snow as required and applying salt/grit as directed.
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of small-scale landscaping operations, as directed, to enhance the appearance of our communal grounds.

Please note that this is a seasonal role, being offered on a Fixed Term Contract / Secondment until the 30th October 2026, working full-time hours.

  • A proven interest in gardening.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of health and safety considerations and how they would apply to this role.
  • The ability to work outside in all weathers and be able to undertake physically demanding work.
  • You’ll be self-motivated, enthusiastic, punctual and professional.
