The Multi Trade Supervisor (Lead Technician) is an essential member of the Direct Repairs department, who leads a dedicated team of multi trade operatives, by providing a comprehensive, efficient and responsive property service delivery. The primary focus is providing a high-quality responsive maintenance service to all residents, internal colleagues and partners. You will also provide clear structure and support to operatives in managing repairs effectively from inception to completion and final quality assurance.
Regular travel will be required across the Isle of Wight, and a company van will be provided for work purposes. Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring, training, and promotion of safe working practices.
- Fleet, equipment, and materials management (stock control, maintenance, and safety).
- Resident liaison, including stage 1 complaint handling and escalation when required.
Ideally, you’ll have worked for a Housing Association, House Builder, Local Authority or Construction contractor in a similar role as a Site Supervisor, Site Manager or Foreperson, building cohesive and motivated teams who are committed to our vision and goals. You’ll be able to make sound judgements, find solutions to complex issues and problems, and identify and manage risk. You must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than six points and with no serious motoring offences in the last 10 years.
