About the Role
We are seeking Independent Committee Members to join our Audit & Risk Committee, supporting the Board in ensuring strong governance, effective risk management and robust assurance across the organisation. This is a critical role, providing independent oversight and constructive challenge across financial, operational and strategic risk areas. You will work closely with the Committee Chair and fellow members to strengthen internal controls, scrutinise performance and support high-quality decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of financial reporting, internal controls and audit processes
- Support oversight of strategic risk management
- Scrutinise organisational performance against strategic objectives
- Contribute specialist expertise to inform governance and assurance discussions
- Work collaboratively with Board and Committee members to uphold effective governance
About You
We are looking for individuals with senior-level experience and expertise in risk, audit or finance within complex organisations. You will bring:
- Significant senior leadership experience in financial audit (internal or external), or risk management
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks, controls and assurance processes
- The ability to analyse complex financial and operational information
- Confidence to provide constructive challenge and independent judgement
- Strategic insight and the ability to operate effectively at Board or Committee level
Board or non-executive experience is welcomed but not essential.
