The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

The role involves delivering a quality, resident-focused Disrepair Surveyor Service working collaboratively with internal and external Legal Counsel, external contractors, and internal departments. You will assist the team in ensuring that a high-quality service is delivered to help with the group's efficiencies to comply with relevant policies, legal and regulatory requirements. You will be proactive in monitoring performance, meeting KPIs and taking decisive action to ensure issues are addressed. Your main base will be our Farringdon office, with regular travel across London. You will have the option for working in a hybrid way when appropriate and as agreed with your manager.

Key requirements include:

  • A detailed knowledge of the legal disrepair process
  • Experience in property maintenance with detailed knowledge of housing construction, disrepair & maintenance service delivery
  • Experience in maintenance surveying with the ability to diagnose complex site problems; manage contracts and project manage to resolution, contractors, operatives and site works; demonstrate excellent awareness of costs, value for money and health & safety risks
  • The ability to be attentive to detail when writing specifications, checking work and materials
  • Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle
