We provide person centred, CQC regulated care that puts residents dignity, independence and wellbeing first - and wed love you to be part of that journey. Reporting to a Senior Care Worker, youll support residents with their day-to-day needs, including personal care, mobility, medication and wellbeing. Youll follow personalised care plans, ensuring care is delivered safely and in line with best practice, while promoting independence, choice and inclusion.
Youll play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming environment where residents feel comfortable and supported in their home. This is a hands-on role where every day is different, and every shift makes a real impact. Youll work across a rota including early mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends, and may be required to participate in an on-call rota where needed.
Youll be based at Byrnhill Grove, Ventnor, Isle of Wight, our registered care home. About you Youre compassionate, reliable and motivated to make a positive difference to people with care needs. Youre comfortable working in a CQC regulated environment and understand the importance of delivering safe, high-quality care. You will need: A caring and empathetic approach, with the ability to build positive, trusting relationships The ability to deliver care in line with person centred care plans, promoting independence and inclusion The ability to remain calm and professional in emergencies and challenging situations A commitment to dignity, equality and high quality care The physical ability to undertake moving and handling tasks Good communication, literacy and numeracy skills Basic IT skills to maintain accurate records The ability to work flexibly as part of a rota, including evenings and weekends Qualifications & development: A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English Willingness and ability to work towards an NVQ Level 2 in Care No previous experience is required
