The Southern Trust’s portfolio pathway programme provides an alternative to becoming a Consultant and we have significant experience of developing and progressing successful applications with several candidates now working as consultants within the hospital.
This is intended as an initial fixed term post for 3 years and following successful completion of aninitial probationary period the candidate will then be supported through the portfolio pathway.
The post includes up to 20% dedicated and protected contracted time for education, CPD and portfolio preparation.
This will include identifying your individual needs and providing a bespoke training programme tomeet them. You will be provided with a clinical and educational supervisor to help support you throughout the process.
