Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine AND Acute Medicine

SUMMARY OF POST:

• This is a new post in Intensive Care Medicine and Acute Medicine, including on call in Intensive Care Medicine (Category A: current pay supplement 5%). Intensive Care Medicine will be used throughout this document and refers to Critical Care (Intensive Care / High Dependency). This post will attract a salary in line with current NHS Remuneration for Hospital Consultants - £110,681 - £145,517per annum This is a full-time position, however anyone interested in working part-time / job share is also welcome to apply. Sessions in Intensive Care Medicine and Acute Medicine, as part of the successful applicant's working pattern, will be agreed following discussion with the Clinical Directors. Accommodation of specialist interests will be considered as part of this discussion. This post has an attractive annual leave entitlement of a minimum of 32 days per annum initially rising to 34 days after 7 years' seniority, plus 10 statutory and public holidays. The post also has an attractive study leave entitlement of up to 30 days paid leave with expenses in any period of three years.
