TheStopDomestic Abuse Survivor Voice and Activities Co-ordinator will be responsible for gathering andelevating survivor voices to ensure they are reflected in service planning and delivery and delivering play, activitiesand personal independenceinitiatives to women and childrenliving in Refuges and other safe accommodation across multiple sites in Hampshire.
Main purpose and scope of the job
- To ensure that the survivor voice is fed back to management and to contribute to survivor voice reports.
- To lead on service user consultation initiatives with survivors in the community and accommodation-based services. This will include face to face events, virtual consultations, surveys, focus groups and one to one interviews.
- Toensure thatwomen,children and young people are offered the opportunity to engage in a wide range of varied activities, during the day and after school, either on or off site.
- To develop, implement, and regularly review,aprogrammeof activities designed to promote healing, reduce harmful behaviours, and encourage positive play.
- To effectively manage and prioritise your ownresponsibilities, ensuring electronic case management systems are utilised, regularly reviewed and updated.into safe and independent living
- To support with the day-to-day running of refuge accommodation, including housing management tasks and supporting refuge residents and their children.
