If you've proven yourself as a journalist and also shown the potential for a client-facing role, Iconic can now offer a unique opportunity to help drive the future growth of some of the UK's leading regional business information and media brands – including insidermedia.com and Business Insider.

As Deputy Editor, you'll support the Editor and create your own features, interviews and other content, whilst also building relationships with CEOs, MDs and a range of business leaders. Assuming a high profile at round tables, business breakfasts, on-stage presentations and other networking events, you'll be expected to generate not only editorial opportunities, but also new possibilities for business development across the entire multi-platform B2B Media environment.

For the right person, it's the perfect chance to step up from purely editorial responsibilities to a commercially-oriented role that could take you anywhere in the business. You'll need to be based in the Southeast, with the ability to travel to our London office, working in a hybrid role.

To succeed in this position, your journalistic know-how and confidence in client-facing, business-oriented situations must be backed by huge ambition, high levels of professionalism and presentation skill up to Board level, plus a real determination to learn, adapt and step up to something new and exciting. Candidates must have a valid driving licence.
