Salary: Β£30,000 - Β£38,000
Responsibilities:
- Supporting senior engineers with availability monitoring, capacity monitoring, and performance monitoring activities.
- Assisting with day-to-day infrastructure maintenance to ensure systems are operating efficiently and remain up-to-date.
- Supporting backup and recovery management activities, including day-to-day backup operations and restorations.
- Providing support for cloud service management, datacentre management, and email system management activities under supervision.
- Assisting with endpoint protection to ensure all end-user computing devices are covered by protection software.
- Supporting identity and access management activities in compliance with defined IAM policies.
- Assisting with software deployment and EUC patch management activities.
- Contributing to infrastructure documentation to ensure systems and services are properly recorded.
- Assisting with end-user documentation to help users utilise systems and services effectively.
- Learning and following asset management processes.
- Supporting change request authoring under the guidance of senior colleagues.
- Supporting the resolution of technical issues during major service outages under the direction of senior engineers.
