We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Logistics Manager.

In this role, you’ll plan and support the operations of our support centres and the associated funeral service operatives working within, to ensure the best end of life client experience

  • What to expect…

  • Ensure funerals are delivered in a professional, caring, and empathic manner in line with company procedures.
  • Lead on operational matters for delivery of our services through efficient scheduling and effective task delegation.
  • Monitor and guide daily workflows to ensure timely service delivery, proactively directing teams to adapt to urgent requests.
  • Forecasting resource demand to ensure we are efficient.
  • Ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained to meet client demand.
  • Manage the Logistics Specialist(s) and supervise the wider funeral service team.
  • Support the Support Centre Manager with day-to-day operations, including compliance, safety, recruitment and training to ensure standards and behaviours are adhered.
  • What we\’re looking for…

  • Experience leading small teams in time-sensitive settings and/or experience in the delivery of funeral operations.
  • Strong logistical awareness in an operational environment.
  • Excellent communication skills ability to build strong professional relationships.
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise, problem solve and make decisions.
  • Full UK driving license (valid for both manual and automatic vehicles).

  • Previous experience within the funeral industry is not required as we’ll provide full training.
  • Travel to other sites will be required.
