We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Burial Ground Consultant.
The shifts will be variable between the hours of 06:00 – 20:00 Monday to Saturday. Gate opening Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays when required.
You’ll be an integral part of the team, supporting the day-to-day operation of the Burial Ground and providing an outstanding service to families. You’ll provide a courteous, efficient, effective and dignified service to all clients through the arrangement and delivery of burials and memorials.

What to expect..
- Manage, support and process all enquiries from members of the public and clients, accurately processing all the necessary arrangements for burials.
- Be responsible for the diary and all administration systems ensuring the smooth operation of the Burial Ground.
- Promoting, advising and selling of all forms of memorialisation and value-added products and services.
- Liaise with and assist funeral directors, clergy/officiants, the bereaved and members of the public and provide the highest possible standards of service.
- Ensure all required documentation is completed and/or received in compliance with Company rules, regulations and statutory legislation. Liaising with external agencies and authorities as required.
- Ensuring the identification, storage and final disposal of cremated remains with the burial ground are undertaken and documented appropriately.
- Receive payments from clients and complete the administration of financial documentation.
- Be responsible for the security of petty cash, premises and company equipment.
- Undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required in support of the Burial Ground operation as required.
- Being proactive in community activities to promote the Burial Ground and End of life services.

- IT literate and a competent user of MS Office.

- Can display resilience and be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Training..
- Previous experience within the funeral industry is not required as we’ll provide full training.
- Travel to other sites will be required.
