Job Description:
We\’re offering an exciting opportunity to deliver the best end of life care, support, and client experience through the arrangement and delivery of funerals, memorialisation, and aftercare services. As an Area Funeral & Memorial Consultant, you’ll be the point of contact for clients, supporting them throughout the process of making funeral and memorial choices.
This role requires travel to our branches in:
- Alton
- Ascot
- Ash Vale
- Fleet
- Frimley Green
- Liss
- Wokingham
Flexibility to support other branches may be required.
There is a fixed addition of £1,000 per annum which contributes towards business car insurance, travel time, and vehicle wear and tear. Business mileage expenses can be reclaimed.
What you\’ll get:
- 31 days leave (pro-rata, including bank holidays), rising to 36 with service
What to expect:
- Guiding clients through funeral arrangements, ensuring standards and expectations are exceeded.
- Ensuring compliance, accuracy, and high attention to detail in arrangements, memorialisation, and aftercare services.
- Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers.
- Ensuring proper care of the deceased, including daily checks and facilitating Reflection Room visits for families.
- Proactive community engagement initiatives.
What we\’re looking for:
- IT literacy and proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
- Resilience and comfort working independently in a branch.
- High levels of empathy and compassion.
- UK driving license and access to own vehicle.
Training:
- No prior funeral industry experience required; full training provided.
- Travel to other sites will be necessary.
